Sayings

Blake

*What he said when he accidentally swallowed some carrot. "One of the carrots went to my tummy withbout nobody...withbout my teeth biting it."

*(Talking to me) "I have a fun time with you every each day." Awwww.

*A few weeks ago we had minestrone soup for dinner. That Sunday during church, it was announced that next would be the administration of the sacrament. Blake quickly turned to me and said "Hey Mom! Minestrone soup!" He thought they had been talking about his dinner.

*We were playing memory and I kept getting matches. I told Blake that I have a good memory and he said "No I have a gooder remembery."

Janie

*She was trying to climb on the stool and I kept telling her no and that she needed to get down because she was going to fall. I realized that my saying "no" has zero effect on her. Eric chimed in and said "Janie, no." Janie burst into tears and came to me for comfort as she said "Daddy told me no." My kids don't listen to me or take me seriously!

* She has the cutest little lisp.

* She loves loves food. My friends are always amazed and how often and how much my kids eat. Lately when she has finished a treat she will cry and cry because it's all gone.

Cat

We had a cat visit us in our backyard last week. It came to the door and wanted to come inside. Blake was screaming because he was scared and Janie was screaming because she was excited. It was hilarious to watch and kept them entertained while I made dinner. I heard Blake say "Hello cat. What is your name cat?"

Announcement

We are going to have a baby and are due July 5th! I never have any pictures of myself so I made Eric take a bunch the other day. And all of them were of me with my eyes closed or making a funny face. He finally just zoomed in on my belly. I will be 21 weeks this week and I'm feeling great.

We have our big ultrasound on the 28th and we aren't going to find out what we are having. I was dying to know the gender before with Blake and Janie, but I am ok waiting this time for some reason. I guess because we are prepared for either boy or girl--and I would be happy with either one. Blake is often talking about how the baby is a girl. Some weeks I think it's a boy--right now I'm guessing a girl. We are all just excited to have a little baby in our house soon.

V Day

We had a fun day finding any way to incorporate pink, red and hearts.

We go to a story/craft time and then music time at the library every Tuesday. We've been going for over a year and I've never taken pictures. The kids love it and look forward to it every week.

Happy Birthday Janie!

Eric was blowing up balloons and then letting them fly around the house. She kept laughing so hard.

I love this little girl. We have been talking about her birthday for a couple weeks now. She would get so excited and mention candles and blowing them out. This past week when I'd ask her who's birthday is on Sunday she'd say "Janie. Not Blake. In July." She was pretty serious while opening presents and eating her cake but I know she was happy. Her cake didn't turn out as cute as I wanted--it had letters on it because she loves letters. We got her a doll house and it is so fun to watch her play house with the people.
