Thanksgiving Part III
We had a great three days in St. Louis with family.
A walk to the newly renovated library.
Scott and MaryAnne brought their dog Lacy. She was a hit with our kids. Janie especially loved her. She carried her around like a little baby.
The kids were spoiled with two trips to the dollar store.
Not everyone could make it for Thanksgiving. Kurt and Stephanie and their family stayed in Nevada. Jared and Michael were serving on their missions. And Jonathan was at school in Utah.
Thanksgiving Break Part II
We left Michigan and headed to Chicago. First we went to the Adler Planetarium. After we had been there maybe twenty minutes, Janie asked "Can we go to a different part of the museum that doesn't talk about planets?"
A little 'Simon Says' on the USA
After the museum, we went to spend one night at the Parker's. Our kids hadn't seen each other in almost two years, but they all jumped right in. We love these friends!
The next morning we left and headed to the Museum of Science and Industry.
The kids are making slime!
Looking at baby chicks
Now on to St. Louis!
