Snow Time

I was leaving for work yesterday and Eric put Janie in this get up. The first snow happened a couple days ago. Blake loves playing in it and went out back for 30 minutes by himself. He normally doesn't do much by himself so it was nice to be able to sit inside and watch him play. Janie didn't last last as long. Eric is good to play with them in the snow but I'd rather watch. Whenever Janie sees snow now she yells "no!" It takes me a second to realize what she's saying.

I often wonder 'Why are my kids so hyper and where do they get their energy?' Maybe because we let them drink frosting.

Winter Party

There was a community Christmas party the other day. The kids loved the paper shredded snow and various activities. I think I need to get Janie one of these bouncing toys. She was on that thing forever and was going crazy.

Thanksgiving with Eric's Fam

Our Thanksgiving feast was delicious. Oh how I love the food. Marita is a great cook. We also had a combined 60th birthday party for Eric's parents. Sad that I don't even have any pictures from that night with Newel or Marita. We started with a dance party with 50s music. Followed by some hoola hooping, match car racing, and trivia questions. Keri, Marita, and I went to see Mama Mia! the next day. It was a great break as the kids played with their cousins the whole time! Three days was just not enough.
