Saturday

***We had fun today at the museum and carousel. We haven't been there for awhile and there were new exhibits and the kids ran from one thing to another. After we had been there a little while, I think Janie was over stimulated. I held her and she said while looking around at everything, "I don't know what to do." Blake didn't want to ride the carousel. Poor guy--things scare him. Janie loved it and wanted to do more. She has a pretty serious face when she is happy.

***Eric and I went out to dinner tonight. When I got home Janie asked me "What did you get at the store?" I told her that we went to a restaurant and ate dinner. Then she asked "What did you get?" I told her what we ate and she asked "Can I see it?" It is fun having little conversations with her.

Movies

Over the past few weeks Janie has found movies to be hilarious. We were watching Over the Hedge the other night and she kept laughing so hard whenever someone got bumped or crashed into. Not just a little laugh--it is a loud belly laugh and she can't stop herself. Blake gets annoyed and is always saying "Janie stop laughing!" I have to tell him that laughing is ok and that he can't make people stop. He said that he can't hear the movie with all that noise. Eric and I just stare and her and laugh with her.
