Ty - 1 Month

So far Ty has been a pretty great baby.  He sleeps tons.  Blake and Janie can't stop kissing him and patting his head.  They fight over who gets to put his pacifier in when he cries.  Last night Blake was eating a snack at the table and Ty started crying.  Blake said "Just let him eat from your gutters."  I asked him what he just said.  He said "Your gutters.  Under your shirt."  I'm guessing he was going for udders???

 I told Janie to put her shoes on before church.

Cousins

We went to Eric's parents house for a quick visit to see cousins.  I didn't get pictures of everyone but Blake and Janie had so much fun with their nine cousins there.  They also had a blast swimming.  Blake had no fear and it was hilarious to watch.  All of the cousins were so great to our kids.  Janie would ask the 14 year old twin boys to go play with her in the basement, and sure enough they would go play Barbies with her.

Blake was wiped out when he got home.  Here is a picture of him during his nap today.  He asked me what all of his stickers spelled.

Lots of Birthdays

Our family celebrates four birthdays within an 18 day period.  Everyone but Janie. 

Here is Eric on his birthday.  Turned 31.

Blake is 4!  He woke up and didn't quite get how he was already 4.  He told me he didn't feel very different and still felt like he was 3.

Janie loves treats.  She was smiling while eating birthday cake and said "I like his birthday." Meaning I like his birthday because I get cake.

Blake had a fun day of playing with Grandma, eating Silver Beach Pizza, going to swim lessons, and opening presents.

4th of July

We have had a hot week here.  High 90's plus humidity.  We had to pick some blueberries though and went as soon as they opened.  We picked 7 pounds.

I think it was too hot and too much work for Janie.  Right after we started she said "I don't like pickng blueberries." 

Here is how Ty spent the day. 

Playing with grandma in the basement 

Met some friends to watch fireworks.  Fireworks didn't start until 10:45p.m!

Janie thought the fireworks looked like spiders.  When she saw them she started singing The Itsy Bitsy Spider.  Then I remembered when Blake was 2 and saw fireworks he said something about porcupines.
