Here are some pictures from the last a swim meet in Avon.  Eric couldn't make it and I had to entertain three little boys in the heat.  We got creative.  Blake and Janie love swimming.

Afterwards we wanted to run to Costco.  The meet ended at 8:20 and Costco closes at 8:30.  We were nearby so we hustled to see if we could make it in time.  We barely made it in!  Chet kept saying "I was totally freaking out about it closing."  We got ice cream for fun.

Cheese from Cal

Eric set up sand in the sandbox which was one of Chet's birthday presents.  Happy kids.

We all took a trip to the dentist--and some of us were in pajamas.  Ty had a couple of cavities to fill.  He cried with the news, but ended up being very brave.  He was happy to get a prize!

Blake is 10!

Happy double digits to this handsome dude.  Blake is creative, helpful, smart, and obedient.  He is a good student and works diligently.  He continues to love sports, games, and friends.

For his birthday, he went to swim team practice.  His buddies Santino and Ryan came over in the afternoon and they played outside with water on the trampoline.  That night we went to Panda Express to celebrate--they even gave him a free egg roll for his birthday.  Michael Tapphous and his family came over that night for some Strawberry Cream Pie and to play games.  

We love Blake!

All Star Game

Blake made the All Star Baseball game and played on a very hot Saturday.  He got a special shirt with his name on it!  It was fun but he didn't get to play as much as he normally does because there were multiple pitchers.  He still had fun, but I will say it again--it was so hot.

Swimming and a Well Visit

I had to volunteer to help at the concession stand for one of Blake and Janie's swim meets.  Eric had to work so I set these three up with food and a movie next to me.  It didn't last as long as I hoped but I tried.
