Happy Mother's Day! 2018

Early May

Freckles on Blake's nose.  After a soccer game.

The kids love to play a baseball game with Eric in our front yard.

I took Cal in to get his picture taken at JCPenny.

Nature Center

Cal turned 18 months!  He loves to be outside and he loves hot dogs.

We met Keli and Rhett Blain at the Rocky River nature center.

Mystery Reader

I volunteered in Ty's Kindergarten class to be a mystery reader.  Chet and Cal came too.  Ty was surprised and jumped right up from the carpet squares when he saw me.  He ran up to me and gave me a big hug and took my by the hand to walk me to my chair.  He made my day!  I love seeing my kids in action at school.  Afterwards he did not want me to take his picture.  But I did anyways!

Bedroom Progress

How did I get so lucky to have Cal sleep on me?  That never happens!

Here is the extra big bedroom that we are going to split.  Blake, Janie, Ty, and sometimes Chet would all sleep in this room.  There was plenty of space but it wasn't very functional for our needs.  The project will include splitting it into two bedrooms, adding a window, and adding closets.  Here is the before:
