Thanksgiving Trip Part I

We drove to Michigan and spent two days at the Brown's house.  It is always great to get connected back with our friends.

On Sunday, we watched their stake conference from their house.  They got a text from Liz Jenson saying they were nearby and would stop by for five minutes before leaving for the airport to go back to the Netherlands.  I was so glad the kids got to see each other--especially Blake and James.

Dave and Busters

For Eric's birthday, Moen gave him a $25 gift card to a place of his choice.  From the list we decided to go for Dave and Busters!  We had a fun date playing games and arcades.  My favorite was the huge Pac-Man.

We came home to find Ty asleep like this.  I'm not sure how this happened, but it was adorable.

Our Days

Five kids on a couch.

Sometimes we go to the church after school to play in the nursery or gym.

Painting Progress

The painters were at our house over a week.  It was hard to not have easy access to our food and kitchen.  And tricky to keep the little boys happy upstairs.  Here is a pic with the white trim!

COSI

We started a Saturday morning early by heading to the temple in Columbus, Ohio.  It is about a two hour drive.  Our ward provided babysitting at the church across the street, so Eric and I were able to attend a session together.

Afterwards we went to make use of our science center membership by going to the COSI (Center of Science and Industry) near the temple.

After the museum, we drove and found a random mexican restaurant for dinner.  It might have been called El Sombrero.  It was delicious!  The kids really love a dinner of unlimited chips.

Veteran's Day Performance

Janie had a second grade patriotic performance at school for Veteran's Day.  All three classes sang various songs and she had a speaking part too.

Trolls

I was in the kitchen while the kids were watching the Movie "Trolls."  I looked over to find Chet covering his eyes.  He was scared.
