Cardinals

We said goodbye to our house in Michigan and headed to a family reunion in St. Louis, starting with a Cardinals game.  On our drive there, our realtor called and told us the buyers had accepted our offer and we got the house!  That made for an even more fun night.

But poor Ty had just received vaccinations for his 4 year old check up appointment earlier that morning--he did not feel well and had a fever.  He slept most of the time.

Last Girls Night

Stephanie put together a going away party for me.  I love all these ladies and have learned so much from each of them over the past six years.  It was hard to say goodbye to such a great group of friends.

Ty is Four!

Ty is a sweet, easy going, fun little boy.  Can't believe he is four.

Last Day in Michigan

We celebrated Ty's birthday on our last day in Michigan.  We will definitely miss how beautiful Michigan is in the summer.  My favorite is the pretty blue sky.

Offer on a House

I had been looking online every day to see houses that were for sale in Westlake, Ohio.  I wasn't seeing anything that I liked and was starting to get bummed.  One night I saw a new house for sale, 4431 Teal Court.  It looked nice, way better than anything else I had been looking at.

I decided to make a quick trip over to see the house and hopefully put an offer on it.  My friend Johanna came with me.  Taking a trip and eating out was fun enough.  Here is the only picture that iI took, of our frozen yogurt.  Eric stayed home with the kids.  We were gone 24 hours and saw about ten houses with our realtors.  Seeing the other 9 houses helped confirm to me that this was a good house and we should buy it.  Eric and I put an offer on it the next day, countered a few times, and then they accepted!

Gender Reveal

'
Towards the end of June, Eric and I went to find out if we were having a boy or a girl.  I think most of us were convinced that we were having a girl for whatever reason.  When the technician started the ultrasound she said she was going to take some measurements first and then tell us the gender.  I kept catching glimpses that it was a boy.  She kept seeing that it was a boy and finally said "before I go any further..." and I said "I can see it!  It's a boy."  And Eric and I just started laughing.  Four boys!  I think it is great and I can't wait to hold the little guy.

I had prepped Janie beforehand about if she was not going to get a sister.  We talked about shopping, pedicures, girl time, etc.  I'm so glad I have my girl.

Look at that cute little chin!

Lincoln Beach

On our last Saturday morning we spent a couple hours at the beach right by our house.
