Sarrett Nature Center

Janie had a preschool field trip to a nature center.  We need to go here more often.

 

 

 

 

 

I love how a leaf fell on his head ever so perfectly.

 

Driving home I got a little turned around.  As I was driving down this road I had to take a picture before I headed back.  It was so pretty!  I'm trying my best to love fall.  I just know what is coming next so it is hard for me to appreciate as the weather is starting to turn cold.  The leaves are beautiful though.  And I do love pumpkin flavored food.

Hair Cut

Janie helped take these pictures of me.  My haircut is A-line so shorter in the back.  I like it.  Needed a change.

Pumpkin Patch

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

A quick trip to the pumpkin patch after school with some friends.  The kids colored faces on their pumpkins that night for FHE.  Why does carving pumpkins not sound fun to me?  I think I've only actually done it one time in my life. 

Chet - 3 Months

There is just something about him.  Chet is an angel baby.  He hardly cries and is full of smiles.  We all can't keep our hands off of him.

 

 

 

 

Hail

Blake was at school and Ty and Chet were both napping.  Janie and I were reading books on the couch when it started to hail.  I don't think Janie had seen hail before.  We were both squealing with delight to see these white balls bouncing on the deck.  It was so fun to watch her face while she experienced it.

 

 

 

 

Conference Weekend

I love conference weekend.  Saturday was busy with church cleaning, football game (played in hail), a birthday party, pre priesthood session chili cook off... But Sunday was so relaxing--our pictures show that maybe we were a little too relaxed.  By the end of the day everyone was bathed though.  We ate cinnamon rolls, played conference games, enjoyed conference talks, went for walks, took naps, and had a roast dinner.  I want a few more days like this.
