Chet must have been hearing a lot of Harry Potter talk at home. Here are some pages that he created at school.
Grandma and Grandpa flew in to stay with Chet and Cal for three days. The boys had a great time. One day we were sent a video of all four of them playing out back in the snow. Grandpa was giving Chet a ride on a snow shovel. Grandma also finished potty training Cal!

We started our first day at Volcano Bay water park. The weather was chilly--in the 70s--and there was rain in the forecast later that day. So it was perfect--not crowded at all. We were able to easily go on everything we wanted to by mid afternoon. Our favorite ride was called Krakatoa. It was fun riding in the group rides with 5 seater big inflatable rafts. We dried off and headed to Universal Studios.
It started raining not long after we got to Universal Studios. We rode Men in Black, the Simpsons. We ate in a diner at bought hamburgers and milkshakes. It was pouring! We worked our way to the Harry Potter land. It became so empty because of the weather. We entered Diagon Alley and went into the wand shop. Blake was chosen to demonstrate having a wand pick you. We bought a wand and the kids practiced some spells. We rode the Gringotts ride. We tried cold butter beer--the kids were in Potter heaven. Then headed back to the bus to take us to our hotel.
