I Love this Kindergartener

He was very excited and ready for his first day of school.  He picked out his new shoes the night before.  He has "glow up" shoes.  

Kindergarten Orientation

Blake and Eric ran their first 5k.  Blake ran it in 27 minutes.

Chet and I went to his Kindergarten orientation.  He was quiet in the classroom but excited at the same time.  He will go half day in the afternoon.  The bus will pick him up at our house at noon and he will ride home on the same bus with Ty and Janie at 4p.m.

First Day of School--Fall 2019

Blake is going into 6th grade at Dover Intermediate School.  This is his second (and last) year attending this school.  This year he gets on the bus a little before 7a.m.!  It is earlier than last year for him, but he can do it.

He catches the bus outside of our neighborhood.

Janie is going into 4th grade and her teacher is Ms. Opron.

Ty is going into 2nd grade and his teacher is Mrs. Spieth

Chet's kindergarten doesn't start for another week.

Ty and Janie ride the bus together and it still picks them up in front of our house.  I still love this so much.  They get on the bus a little before 8:00a.m.

Westlake Elementary School

Here are pictures of the new Westlake Elementary School (WES).  They are no longer using the 4 elementary schools in Westlake, but instead built thins "super" elementary school.  We went to check out Janie's classroom.  It is a very big school with three wings.  One for preschool and kindergarten, one for first and second, and another for third and fourth grades.  There is a different principle per wing.  I think there might be around 1200 students attending.

This year Chet, Ty, and Janie will be attending this school. 

Cedar Point--Water Park

I'm not brave enough to take all 5 kids to a water park by myself, so my friend Keli Blaine helped me.  She came with her kids and took my older 3 on the big kid rides.  I stayed with Cal and Chet and watched them go down fun water slides and swim in the pool.  After a few hours we changed and went to ride some rollercoasters.
