Summer

Robeks with these three

Janie went to spend time at her friend Laurens house.  Her mom always does such fun activities with them!

Chet finished out his first tball season.  I asked him if he wanted to play again next year and he said no.  So that is that!  I will ask him again in a year.

Chet's 5th Birthday

Chet was so excited to turn 5.  The Brown's were visiting for a few days.  Chet had a birthday party with some friends from church, preschool, our neighbor, and new friends we had made at the park.  We played water games out back and everyone had a squirt gun.  We had a sponge relay game and ate cupcakes.  Afterwards we got out free slurpees!  Happy Birthday cute Chet.

Swimming and Free Food

Ty joined the swim team crew!  It is such a fun activity for the kids in the summer.  Ty did great!  I was impressed with his abilities.

Sometimes it is tricky keeping these two happy and out of trouble (and water) at a swim meet.

Chick Fila appreciation day!  Eric met us there for work and we held up our cow plate heads that Blake made so we could get some free food.

4th of July -- 2019

We had another great reunion in St. Louis for the Fourth of July.  We got to talk to Aubrey while she was on her mission.  She was at the MTC getting ready to leave for Finland.  She bore her testimony in Finnish.  Lots of swimming and a couple of trips to the dollar store.  The older cousins played a rousing game of bingo with the younger cousins.  The Lingard's brought one of their cousins from Nathan's side named Andy.  He fit right in!

I turned 36 and made myself my favorite strawberries and cream pie.  When we drove home I was surprised to find two potted plants on our doorstep.  It was a birthday gift from Sarah Rish.  So pretty and very nice of her!  Eric celebrated his 38th birthday a few days later with his favorite peanut butter cake.

Here are a couple of cute notes I found:

Janie Loves Softball!

Janie's team had their end of the season celebration at Mitchell's.  Janie loved being on a team with Callie.

Their team played in the championship game which was under the lights.  Blake came with me to cheer her on.   Janie played great!  Their team was up for most of the game but ended up losing at the very end.  Everyone was pretty sad.  Until next year!
