Newport 2016

My mom has been working hard on completing the last few stockings for the grand kids.  She finished just in time to start a new tradition of Christmas in July at Newport.  The stockings were not being put to use, but now they will.  The cousins did a small gift exchange and there were a few gifts in the stockings from grandma and grandpa.  Fifteen cousins on that couch!

Ty could be found in a new sleeping position each night.

Blake and Megan hit it off this week.  They were the best of buds and played together constantly.  It was so fun to watch.

My camera took these blurry pictures, but I love this one of Ty and Jill.  Laughing away while playing war.

New Park

We found a fun new park this trip.  Afterwards we went to lunch at Panda Express and then next door to get some frozen yogurt.  It might have been the kids first time.  They loved choosing their flavors and topping and continue to talk about it.  It's always fun with grandparents around!

Rolly Polies

We spent a lot of mornings walking to a nearby park in Pleasanton.  One day they kept busy for an hour collecting rolly polies,  They counted them, named them, and made them a home.

Blake is 8!

For Blake's birthday he decorated his cake and golfed 18 holes with Grandpa.  Afterwards they went to In and Out.  We gave Blake his own set of scriptures for his birthday.

Chet is Two

We flew to California to spend two weeks in Pleasanton.  We started by celebrating Chet's second birthday.  That morning we walked to get donuts.  We played with water in the backyard.  And finished the day with peanut butter cupcakes.

Chet is our family entertainer.  He makes us laugh and copies everything he sees.  He loves Bubble Guppies.  He loves reading books.

St. Louis

We were all able to attend a session at the temple together.

We had to say goodbye to Jared and Michael for two years as they were about to leave on their missions.  Michael is going to serve in Argentina and Jared will go to Chile.  They have been great examples for my kids, especially Blake.  We are proud of them!

Cool Aunt Stephanie helped all of the kids sew a bag, pillow, and bean bag.

Going to Chuck E. Cheese is always a must!
