We had a fun four days in St. Louis.

We went bowling to celebrate Avelyn's birthday.  I forgot my camera and was mad I did because after each of Janie's turn she would skip back to her chair with a big smile on her face.  She could care less how many pins she knocked down.  Blake was in angst the whole time--fearful that Janie would beat his score.  Which she did the first game.  He held it together pretty well but he just looked concerned while watching the whole game.  After Janie would skip back from the lane, Blake would whisper to me in an annoyed tone that Janie's ball goes so SLOW.  The score for the second game was close between him and Janie.  It came down to the last frame.  I saw Blake raise his fist and quietly say "yes!" once victory was his.

We made a quick stop to visit my Grandma on our way home.  We went to Pizza Hut and stopped at Dairy Queen for some ice cream.  Blake enjoyed playing a couple rounds of memory with her.  It is always great to see my cute Grandma.

This Week

Janie wanted to be silly after I took pictures of Blake being silly with his lost tooth.

He has gotten pretty close to fitting his whole fist in his mouth.

Lost Tooth

Blake was so excited when he realized he had his first loose tooth.  Most if not all of his friends have lost one or several teeth at this point.  He was glad to be joining the club.  Come to find I do not like looking at loose teeth.  I could hardly stand him showing me.  Eric looked at it last night and I guess it was barely hanging on so he pulled it out.  Blake smiled at me with a big bloody smile.  He was getting a little silly with our photo shoot of his new look.

Chet 4 Months

Chet is such a happy baby.  He is always smiling with a big open mouth but when I try to get it on camera he just gives me blank stares.

Right after he rolled over.  Ty was coaching and cheering him on.

Foooooky!

We had our first snow of the season on Halloween!  I wasn't too excited.  At least it stopped in time to trick or treat.  It was pretty cold--Eric took the 3 around.  Ty lasted about 30 minutes.

We made ghost suckers earlier in the day.  Ty kept saying how spooky it was.  It was hilarious-- "Fooooky!"  And he liked the candy "Farties."

We had trunk or treat the Saturday before.  I went around the cars with Ty (Blake and Janie ran off with friends and did their own thing.  They are growing up!)  Ty looked in amazement each time he was given candy.  Towards the end he said "I yuv twick o tweating."
